Trying to keep up with my photography this year, so I'm posting mostly as fast as I can process my photographs, even though I've barely posted anything from last year, I'll get to that when I find the time
Can't believe my first outing with my new camera was like half way through the year... Hope I get to use it more often in the latter part of this year

I've been pretty inactive here lately... So I guess I might as well come back with a journal update
The past few months have been eventful and exciting and I'm looking forward to sharing my photos with you, in February I spent a weekend in Mozambique, and in May a week in Malaysia where I watched my first live Formula 1 race (too eventful to cover in this journal but I might do a bit of a write-up later) and last month I attended the Top Gear Festival which was held in Durban again this year, and little happenings and events in between.
Aaahhhh.... I've been trying to get out of this lazy spell in regard to getting down to sorting through my images but it's so hard orz
Ramadaan's come around again and I've been trying to use it to sort of springboard myself into sleeping earlier and waking up earlier, but it doesn't seem to be going very well and I'm getting even less sleep lol
Also, Steam Summer Sale happened, what did you guys get? I splurged a bit, retail therapy and all that jazz: Borderlands 2 | AudioSurf | X3: Terran Conflict | Strike Suit Zero | Strike Suit Infinity | AquaNox + AquaNox 2 | Counter-Strike: Global Offensive | Borderlands 2: Mechromancer Pack | Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package | Borderlands 2: Mechromancer Steampunk Slayer Pack | Tomb Raider | GTR 2 FIA GT Racing Game | Deus Ex: Human Revolution™ | Torchlight II | Sid Meier's Civilization® V | Upgrade Civ V Standard to Gold Edition | DiRT 3 | Strike Suit Zero - Raptor DLC | Strike Suit Zero Heroes of the Fleet DLC
And on that note, with Gran Turismo 6 releasing in a couple months I've been blazing through my remaining races in Gran Turismo 5, but those two 24 hour races on the horizon look awfully daunting...
The new Pokemon is also coming too soon orz not done with White 2 yet... and I didn't even finish White either, what's wrong with me? >____<;;;;;;;;;;;;
Also in Malaysia I picked up a bunch of new photog gears, a Sigma 150-500mm lens, a flash, monopod, and a bunch of other stuff, I also bought my first nendoroid! [link]fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net…;
I've started watching Toku, starting with Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger and it's just as awesome as I thought it'd be. This year so far I haven't been watching as much anime (or anything, for that matter) as I would like to... so far I've only watched (to completion) Kenkō Zenrakei Suieibu Umishō and and Kimi Ni Todoke Season 2, both were really nice. Although, I do think I'm forgetting something.
My driving test is coming up... and my birthday after that... If I don't have my licence on my birthday I'm gonna be sad lol as for my birthday, I'm stating to get anxious as to whether or not to invite anyone for anything, last year I sent an open invitation to everyone I wanted to hang with, but none could come, and I got really depressed.. After that, I don't really need to invite everyone again, right? I don't want to feel like that on my birthday again. ;_;
Ah, and something that's been bothering me a bit lately... A friend of mine that used to be like super close back in high school recently got into photography and within like a year he's gone from total newb to pro and his pictures are showing up in local newspapers and he's being hired by international organisations for high profile shoots etc, and I'm thinking why can't I do that? And I have a feeling that another friend of mine who's just gotten his first camera is going to do the same... These guys are like superly peoples' people... I need to become more outgoing orz... Guess I'll take it one step at a time and start selling prints, if they even sell >___<;

When I look at where I started, and where I am now, after about four years of owning various digital cameras, I get kinda happy, even though I'm nowhere near to where I want to be, I'm always getting better, I've made a lot of progress in 2012, looking forward to learning a lot more in 2013, hoping it'll be an exciting year in pictures. ^ ^
